Global 2024/25 total grains (wheat and coarse grains) production is forecast at 2,315m t. Localised dryness has slightly curbed wheat prospects in Australia and Argentina ahead of the main winter harvest period. Estimates for the EU and Russia are also trimmed but, with offsetting increases elsewhere, including in Kazakhstan (wheat) and Turkey (barley), the world crop estimate is unchanged m/m (month-on-month).
